Curriculum

In each class, we focus on:

• Lan­guage Arts — read­ing and mak­ing books
• Sci­ence — explor­ing the envi­ron­ment through art, exper­i­ments, and literature
• Math and pre-math — through songs, pup­pets, and hands-on activ­i­ties that make num­bers real for children

Early child­hood equip­ment and toys are used to engage a child’s senses, intel­lect, and social skills.

Jew­ish and other cul­tural hol­i­day fes­tiv­i­ties, sto­ries, and songs, plus our weekly Shab­bat activ­i­ties help chil­dren develop an appre­ci­a­tion for Judaism and other traditions.

“Kavod,” mean­ing respect for one­self and oth­ers, is the foun­da­tion of our program.
