Temple Beth David has been educating our youngest community members for over 25 years. We are a small school with a warm and nurturing family atmosphere. Our low child/teacher ratio reflects our goal of providing individual attention, allowing each child to work at his or her own pace.

Our teachers have been with us for years, providing the continuity and personal involvement that children need for their emotional and educational well-being.

The teachers are well versed in all aspects of child development and are highly trained to work compassionately and effectively with all children, including those with special needs.

Philosophy

Temple Beth David Early Childhood Learning Center is committed to serving the needs of the child, family, and community. All program activities are an outgrowth of our central goal - encouraging a love of learning within a warm Jewish setting that fosters healthy self-esteem.

We provide a hands-on curriculum paired with a strong academic foundation. Our program focuses on language arts, using reading and book making to nurture a love of books. The science program incorporates exploration of the natural world, art, experimentation, and literature. We teach math skills through song, puppets, and hands-on activities that make numbers real.

Jewish holiday experiences, traditions and values are intertwined within the wide variety of educational endeavors. Holiday festivities, stories and songs plus our weekly Shabbat activities help children develop a love of Judaism.

Our Programs

Pre-School
On weekdays, we offer a program for two year olds, a program for three year olds, a Pre-Kindergarten program and a Parent/Toddler Class for toddlers 10 through 24 months and their parents.

Daycare
Daycare is available 7:15-9:00 am and 2:30-6:15 pm.

Summer Sessions
We offer three-week summer sessions that include weekly water days and creative themes.
