RELIGIOUS SCHOOL - K THRU 10TH GRADES

Students from Kindergarten through Confirmation (10th grade) study and experience Jewish traditions, history, culture, celebrations, and values.  Our programs include unique opportunities for families to learn together through family education programs.

Students participate in many special hands-on learning programs, field trips, and off-site community activities.  Community Shabbat Retreats, in partnership with the Bureau of Jewish Education, allow 4th thru 8th grade students to connect and learn with other Jewish youth from the Orange County and Long Beach areas.  In the Bureau's community-wide Adat Noar program, 9th graders learn and socialize with Jewish peers through Shabbat Weekend Retreats and engaging classes.

HEBREW SCHOOL - GRADES 4 THRU 7

Students ages 9 through 13 attend weekday afternoon Hebrew School, where they learn to read and write the Hebrew language.  Special emphasis is placed on learning the Shabbat prayers they will use when leading their Bar/Bat Mitzvah Service.
