Sydney and Payton Rofe – B’not Mitzvah

Sydney and Payton Rofe will celebrate their B’not Mitzvah at Temple Beth David on February 8^th.  Sydney and Payton are 7^th graders at McAuliffe Middle School. At school, Sydney has become very interested in drama, and has written and directed a short screenplay. Payton is extremely excited about her journalism class where she is also a writer and editor for the school’s first online newspaper. Both Sydney and Payton have a passion for soccer and play for the SoCal Blues club soccer team.  They both are also very involved at Orange County Song and Dance where they take dance and voice classes, and are members of OCSD’s performance company.  For their mitzvah project, both girls will raise money and participate in the City of Hope Cancer Walk in honor of family members who have lost the battle with cancer, and those currently fighting cancer.
