In honor of Shavuot, a holiday typically celebrated by eating dairy, Beth David Young Professionals presents an inspiring and educational beer and cheese pairing event.  You will learn about cheeses from certified Cheese Monger, Raymond Marvin.  Raymond is based in Washington D.C. and will provide all commentary, history, and thought-provoking knowledge on our cheese and beer pairings.

As we transition back to in-person events, we will offer two options for participation. Please read the details below for specific information.

In-person option ($36.00): Following CDC dining guidelines, the event will be held in the spacious social hall at Beth David synagogue. Raymond, who will be Zooming in, will be projected on a screen for all of us to watch and participate. Individual plates of cheeses and other snacks will be provided at each seat. Chilled beer tastings will be individually poured as we move through the event. Upon the conclusion of the event, participants can move to the outdoor patio for continued connection.

*CDC guidelines include: temperatures taken upon entrance, tables will be 6-ft apart, we will provide individual servings and masks must be worn while not seated at your table.

Virtual option ($5.00): You will be provided with the Zoom link and a Trader Joe’s shopping list with specific suggestions for beer and cheeses. If one or more of the items are not desirable, simply swap it out for a beverage or snack of your choice! The items on the shopping list total around $30.00 per person.

*Please note that the beer and cheese offerings may or may not be kosher*

Please email Andrea at [email protected] with any questions.
