PLEASE JOIN US FOR A COMMUNITY WIDE MITZVAH PROJECT
We will be making fleece blankets to provide warmth for children and families currently experiencing homelessness. No sewing experience required!
(Please bring a good pair of scissors)
“Wrap the Kids”, a non-profit organization founded by a group of homeless people in Long Beach, will distribute these blankets to families living in, near and under the flood channel and 91 freeway. We will learn more about the organization and the work they are doing.
Light appetizers, dessert and wine will be served
